Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions (中二病でも恋がしたい! Chūnibyō Demo Koi ga Shitai!, Even People with Adolescent Delusions of Grandeur Want to Experience Love!), also known as Chū-2 for short, is a Japanese light novel series written by Torako, with illustrations provided by Nozomi Ōsaka. The work won an honorable mention in Kyoto Animation Award competition in 2010, leading the company to assume its publication and release two volumes in 2011. A twelve episode anime adaptation by Kyoto Animation aired in Japan between 4 October and 19 December, 2012, with six six-minute Lite episodes streamed on YouTube. The anime is licensed by Sentai Filmworks for release in North America. A second TV anime season for chūnibyō has been announced and an animated film will be released in September 2013.
Plot
High School freshman Yuuta Togashi was once a "chūnibyō
patient" i.e. an overly self-conscious middle schooler. He wants to bury
this embarrassing past and begins a new life in high school -- unsuccessfully.
His classmate Rikka Takanashi , a "current" chūnibyō
patient, has found traces of residual symptoms on him and used the fact to
force Togashi "making a contract" (dating) with her.

A movie adaptation has been announced and its airing this September. The
movie is titled “Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai! the movie: Rikka Takanashi

and it will debut in Japanese theaters on 14 Sep 2013.
According to the television animes director Tatsuya Ishihara, the film will
be a compilation of the first television season — only as seen from the
character Rikka’s eyes and reconstructed with new elements to make it
interesting for the audience. The last scene of the film will tie into the upcoming
